Camp Information

Types of Camping Experiences Available:

Summer still is the traditional camping season. 4-H, churches, Camp Fire and other youth organizations have found Panhandle to be the perfect place to host their camping programs. Find out more about our camp activities here.

The school year camping experience often includes an environmental education component. Panhandle 4-H Camp is an ideal site for studying forestry or wetland and lake ecosystems. You may use our equipment or bring your own. Hands-on science kits are available for Water Quality, Forestry and Astronomy studies. We also have a telescope. You provide the teacher/subject expert. Campers interested in teambuilding activities are invited to use our 4-H Challenge Kits or the Low Ropes Course.

Retreats in the past few years many non-profit adult and youth groups, churches, schools and WSU Cooperative Extension groups and clubs have found Panhandle to be the ideal Retreat Center. The set up of our facilities make Panhandle attractive to diverse non-profit groups.
